The
American Revolution, perhaps the most
significant event in modern human history,
defined human potential by throwing off the
yoke of oppression and crafting A
Declaration of Independence and a
Constitution designed to benefit all who
settle on these shores. No longer under
the oppressive weight of an unreasonable
authority, the free Americans risked much
for the good of the whole. These times
require a similar response – oppressive
systems compromising the integrity of the
earth community must be over-thrown.
Our history books remind us that in early
December of 1773, an intrepid band of
patriots, disguised as Native Americans,
boarded British ships in Boston Harbor and
efficiently, and quietly, tossed bricks of
tea in the water. This act of defiance,
dubbed The Boston Tea Party, perhaps more
than any other single event, set in motion
what was to become The American Revolution.
Most often history has taught us that the
overthrow of oppressive forms of government,
and even corporate control, has required
taking to arms, but also, within the
tradition of non violence, overthrow can be
accomplished through creative endeavors
where violence is not required. We are a
nation oppressed by a system of industrial
agriculture, that in our country alone has
debilitated our ability to sustain our
quality of life fought and died for by our
patriotic ancestors. This system is being
spread worldwide, and our planet can no
longer tolerate this type of oppression. We,
like the patriots of old, must begin to
literally toss an entire system overboard so
it no longer controls our lives.
The Objective and The Goal
It is time to say good-bye to hamburgers
and steaks, and any food choice prepared
with beef raised in concentrated or confined
feeding operations around the globe.
Will you commit to the elimination of beef
from your diet? Will you sign the pledge and
join with others who recognize that the
evolution of the beef raising regime is no
longer sustainable and hastens the collapse
of creation as we know it?
Take The Pledge
There are several options to make your
commitment to ByeByeBeef.
Take the
ByeBye Beef pledge and be heard by the herd.
